How tall should my digital images be?

The maximum height of your digital image will be determined by the size of lampshade you order. The maximum height needed for each lampshade image is:
Shade Size
Max Image Height
22"
12"
18"
11"
14"
8"
10"
7"
Candelabra
4"

How much resolution do my images need?

Once you determine the size lamp you need, create a digital file which is at the maximum height from the table above and at a resolution of 200 pixels per inch.

If you are ordering two different size lampshades with the same image on both, just send us a file appropriate for the larger lamp and we can resize it for the smaller lampshade.

What format should I save my images in?

We can accept any of a number of different file types. We prefer JPEG as it allows smaller file sizes and allows faster transmission times. You may email the images as an attachment or we accept CD-R. If you have the option of controlling the burning convention of your CD burner we prefer an ISO 9660 setting.

Can I mail you my images?

Yes, but we prefer digital images. We are happy to scan your original images, but we are not responsible for loss or damage due to shipping and handling. If you must send us a photographic print or slide, we prefer you send us a copy (not a photocopy) so you can keep your original.

Can you repair images?

Yes. We charge a flat rate of $40 per hour. If you wish, we can email you back the repaired file for future use.
